And now I understand why Arakawa-sensei loves drawing omake so much.
The top left one is a bit of a long story...suffice to say that Ed probably thinks I'm annoying because I draw so much FMA fanart. Though I definitely think there are people that draw more than me in that respect.
The one below that is really a Buso Renkin in-joke...Tokiko is always saying "harawata o buchimakero" as a sort of battle cry. I don't quite know how to translate it, since for the longest time I thought "harawata" was someone's name since it was written in kanji with katakana instead of furigana like most of the other characters names were. (and so I didn't bother looking it up in a dictionary.) According to someone on a forum, it translates roughly to "I'm going to make you spill your guts", but that's a bit gross. I think of it as more something like "I'm going to beat the crap out of you", though that's not quite Tokiko's style. Anyway, in FMA book 11, Ed's "Let's go beat the crap out of this Truth (shinri) guy and get your body back!" had me rolling on the floor laughing.
The one on the right? I was just wondering what Al's body has been _doing_ in the gate for the past four years. It must get pretty boring. And yes, I know he looks like a blond version of Wrath from the anime, but that's how Arakawa-sensei drew him (in chapter 53, was it?) so I'm not arguing.
On the bottom is movie Al. I think the long hair makes him look cute, if not effeminate, but I actually do prefer his short hair...I just can't draw it very well.

Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
